ALL RIDERS GOING ON ANY TRACK SHOULD HAVE THE RIGHT GEAR FOR THE JOB. MOST OF OUR MEMBERS HAVE BUT THERE IS ALOT WITH OUT THE NECK BRACE WHICH I WOULD LIKE TO SEE MORE MEMBERS USING I THINK IT S ABOUT TIME THEY DID WHAT IS THE PRICE OF YOUR NECK  OR A NECK BRACE YOU DECIDE. ALL RIDERS ARE DOING A GOOD PACE NOW AND SAFETY  IS STILL PRIORITY AT THE TRACK

Its not been proven that a neck brace will stop you getting a severe neck or spinal injury in the event of a crash, it may prevent the severity. I've been on loads of mx forums where debates about neck braces go on and on.
Take a look at the picture that Monster has put in from round one of the Scottish adults at Tain, how many in the pictures are wearing one? these guys are Scottish top riders!! its got to be a preference thing. There's been a few threads on this forum about this recently.
World MX riders some wear them some don't.
Thats my rant for the day........naw for the week. If i fall of and hurt myself, you can all stop by and give me the big I TOLD YOU SO.

Yeah, definately a preference thing. Plus the top of the range ones are mega pricey. I have to say i cant ride without it now but took a while to get used to and ive had some big offs wearing it. There are probably more folk riding without one than there are wearing one i would say. If you want one and cant afford an expensive kind, just go for the foam type ones. They have had loads of testing done on them and are supposed to do a good job too.

Or just dont fall off and you will be fine!
